The Company may collect information automatically when you visit the Site, using Cookies. The Cookies allows the Company to identify your computer and find out details about your last visit. The User can choose not to allow Cookies. However, we can’t guarantee that your experience with the Site will be as good as if you do allow Cookies. The information collected by Cookies does not personally identify you; it includes general information about your computer settings, your connection to the Internet e.g. operating system and platform, IP address, your browsing patterns and timings of browsing on the Site and your location. Most internet browsers accept Cookies automatically, but you can change the settings of your browser to erase Cookies or prevent automatic acceptance if you prefer.
The following types of Cookie are used on the Site;
a) Analytics Cookies
These monitor how visitors move around the Site and how they reached it. This is used so that we can see total (not individual) figures on which areas of the site users visit most, for instance.
b) Remarketing cookies
These cookies allow us to show associated display adverts towards you after you have left our website. These cookies are used for 3 days.
Gift Vouchers – Terms and Conditions of Sale
Sonnys vouchers can be redeemed against purchases at Sonnys Restaurant only.
Vouchers can be purchased in-house.
Making a Booking with A Gift Voucher
Gift voucher bookings must be made in advance via telephone and are subject to availability. Bookings can be made with Reservations on 01-2874927, by email or directly with the restaurant.
Refunds and Cancellations Voucher are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, either fully or in part for cash of any amount. If a voucher is used in the restaurant and there is a balance owed this can be returned in vouchers.
Lost or Stolen Vouchers
Vouchers are the responsibility of the customer and any vouchers either lost or stolen cannot be replaced. If you however have kept track of your reference number we may be able to replace your voucher. Only if your reference number is available.
The following privacy statement applies to any customer data collected and/or held by Sonnys and Sonnys Ventures Ltd.
At Sonnys and Sonnys Ventures Ltd, the privacy and protection of personal data is treated with the utmost seriousness. Our privacy statement sets out the data protection practices currently in place within the company. We fully endorse and adhere to the principles of the Data Protection Acts 1998 and 2003 and also the GDPR regulations of 2018. Specifically, we state that we will: Obtain and process information fairly. Keep it only for one or more specified, explicit and lawful purpose. Use and disclose it only in ways compatible with these purposes. Keep it safe and secure. Keep it accurate, complete and up to date. Ensure that it is adequate, relevant and not excessive. Retain it for no longer than is necessary for the purpose or purposes intended. Give a copy of his/her personal data to that individual, on written request. If at any time you believe that this web site has not adhered to these principles, please notify Sonnys by e-mail and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
The cardholder shall remain responsible for notifying their issuing bank with any changes in details or fraudulent/not normal activities on their account. Sonnys Ventures Limited takes no responsibility regarding any fraudulent activity on any customers cards/accounts used on this website. We have taken all necessary steps regarding upholding PCI DSS compliance and remain objective in the case of cardholders bearing their own responsibility regarding jurisdiction laws.
Your Data & GDPR
Sonnys will collect data on our customers for different purposes which are detailed below. Your data can be reviewed by yourself at any time by submitting an access request to firstname.lastname@example.org. You also have the right to delete your information from our database at any time by again emailing your details to email@example.com
This data will be used for sending marketing materials and reviewing analytical data relating to reservations and website usage of Sonnys.
Data Access Requests
Sonnys provides for data access requests from our customers. This information will be returned to the customer within one month of request.
Sonnys also provides a free opt-out service for all data subjects. It is a clearly identifiable opt-out mechanism for each individual marketing platform and is available to all our customers free of charge. Full extraction from all platforms should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org detailing full deletion request.
Storing and transferring your Personal Data
In operating our website and marketing efforts it may become necessary to transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We do our upmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is treated stored securely.
Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
Sonnys will collect some information on you just so we can manage your dinner reservation or event. This information may also be used for marketing but this only be upon your consent.
Your Name, Phone, Email address and payment information may be taken when making a reservation and this information is stored by our Reservation software, namely Resdiary and only used for purposes relating to your reservation and not accessed for any other reason or passed onto 3rd parties.
When your credit or debit card account information is being transmitted to our Reservations software, namely Resdiary, or through the site, it will be protected by cryptographic protocols, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2). To be clear, Resdiaary does not itself store your credit or debit card account information, and they do not have direct control over or responsibility for your credit or debit card account information. It uses third party payment processors that are the controllers of your credit card information. The contracts with third parties that receive your credit or debit card account information require them to keep it secure and confidential.
When you consent for your details to be used for marketing purposes, we will export your contact details into our marketing database. The details we will export are Name, Email & Phone number and date/time of your reservation. More details of how this data is then used will be detailed below under ‘Marketing Database’
We collect different information from customers from different mechanics all detailed above. How we use this information is portrayed upon collection and again below.
By removing yourself from one of our marketing platforms, this will not delete you from all of our marketing mechanics. To delete yourself from all platforms, please email your details to email@example.com detailing that you want to be deleted fully.
Data added to our marketing database is stored by different companies for different purposes. The purposes for each transfer (see above ‘sorting and transferring your data’) as detailed above are as follows:

This Company is used to send you marketing materials via text message where consent is given. These text messages can be sent for periodic promotions and to offer you a birthday gift when date of birth is supplied. Each text you receive will have an option to stop receiving text messages. We use Facebook service for display advertising. Email addresses are periodically uploaded to the Facebook service so that we can display adverts to you associated to Sonnys. This data is only held on Facebook for the time needed for a specific campaign and not given to Facebook to use for their own campaigns.

Orders need to be cancelled within 10 minutes of order being placed.
Refund & returns Policy
Refunds are only by card only. No cash refunds. Refunds can take up to 5 days to reach your account.
We do not accept return of food items.
Food Order Errors*
If you receive food that is different from your receipt, we sincerely apologize. Please call us as soon as you notice that there was an error in your order. You may come to pick up the correct food item.
For credit card payments, you will be refunded the sales price amount associated with the error and recharged for the new items price.
For cash payments, you will be asked to pay the difference of the balance if the new food has a greater value than the food received in error. In the same way, you will receive the difference of the balance back as credit for the new item if less than the food received in error. In some cases, we may offer you a store credit.
Your order will be priority if you come to pick it up. In all cases, please return the food order in the original container(s)* to Sonnys.
Food Order Incomplete*
In the rare occasion that you do not receive food that is on your receipt, we will make it up to you. Please call us as soon as you notice that any food items were not received in your order. You may cancel the missed food before we prepare it (within 10 minutes) without any question, and we will refund the amount to a credit card or we will refund you with a store credit. No cash refunds.
We cook our food fresh to order with only the finest and freshest ingredients. We take great care and pride in all of the dishes we make. Refunds and/or replacement food are available upon request for orders in which the food is wrong, omitted and other similar circumstances. Refunds are not typically provided for food that a guest simply does not like.
Sorry, we cannot cancel, refund or give store credit if you change your mind or mistakenly order an item after the order is prepared. We cannot provide any refund or store credit for non-food items or beverages.
